Project and Bounty Submission Requirements

  • Each project must include the use of Arweave or its derivatives to qualify for bounties in addition to bounty-specific requirements.
  • Your entry must abide by the overall hackathon rules.
  • While you may plan ahead of time, all code for your project must be written during the event starting July 28th
  • You cannot copy-paste another project as your own. It must be your own creation. Of course, you can use elements from others as long as the license suggests that!

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Bounties by Forward, Community Labs, Kwil, Ar.io, DeveloperDAO & Ardrive are all by their respective team members. You understand that their opinions will determine the winners and it is in their power to deem whichever project as a winner. The below are the general guidelines for judging during the hackathon.

  • Successful Implementation

How complete and functional is your project? While your project does not need to be perfectly polished, the solution should at least be functional.

  • Technical Difficulty

How technically complex is the problem that your project is tackling, and the solution that you have presented?

  • Applicability

Is the solution unique to Arweave? Is the solution permanent, composable, and potentially more valuable over time? **Is this something that someone would have a use for in the real world?

  • Creativity

Does the project address a new or unsolved problem? Does the project create a unique solution to a problem with an existing solution?
