I continue to amass Twilight Sparkle plush because I definitely don't have a problem. Today I found the new set of Aurora plush and well... had to buy one for my herd. When I kept looking at the Aurora plush, I kept thinking they looked almost just like the new versions of the Ty plush.

So of course the first thing I did when I got home with them is take a lot of pictures comparing them to each other. :D

so i've been playing fallout: new vegas again and it's a lot of fun. Yay. The only bad thing is the game runs pretty awful on ps3. The lag and all that was so bad my game could play for about 10 minutes before slowing down to unplayable levels. Unfortunately there's no way to fix it. The save files just get too big and bethesda doesn't care about the ps3.

So I switched to playing my game on PC instead. I actually have a decent computer now and can play the game on the highest settings possible. I also installed a bunch of mods to make the game cooler. One of my favorite ones stripped out the extra color filters and makes the game look more ~realistic~. I am mesmerized by how much nicer it looks.

BUT being me, I always break stuff. My favorite things to do in games is to climb on stuff that the game does not want you to climb on. I don't know why. But, while playing the game, I noticed there was a spot where it looked like I could climb onto the roof of one of the game locations (Camp McCarran). I did *not* use the console commands to shut off clipping to get up here. Kayla watched me do it on stream, it took a few tries, but I managed to scale up the side of the supply warehouse which was connected to the main airport. From there I started to explore...

I still do this dumb game meme because it's fun for me to watch how i end up playing less games as each year goes on?? LIKE WHAT EVEN. oh well maybe this year will be different. or maybe this is just my new thing. it would also help if i tried to play new games instead of the same 5 titles OVER AND OVER AGAIN (but at the same time, if im having fun who cares??? IDK!!!1!) though I also tend to feel bad if i have unplayed games sitting on my shelf year and year. :x

Some things that have happened recently... uhm...

I'm moving again soon. Well, October to be exact. Everyone here is tired of dealing with the landlord's crap. She is too cheap and hires workers to fix things that aren't really fixed when they leave. They were going to leave my sink leaking more than it was when they arrived had I not intercepted them and informed them it was still pouring water out the bottom. They also "fixed" our back gate by making impossible to open unless you literally body slam it. Plus the house is old and kind of falling apart. Stuff we want to fix or replaced (our oven isn't broken, but it is literally the worst oven I've ever used in my life) the landlord is just like WELL IT ISN'T BROKEN SO DEAL WITH IT~~ so everyone is done. just done.

Not looking forward to moving (really) but it might be nice to start over again with placement of everything.

Last week was all the E3 stuff. The only thing that consistently made a presence to me was Sunset Overdrive. It's made by my favorite game developer (Insomniac Games, surely people who read this know that already?) and it just looks SO FUN. Anyone who followed my (surely obnoxious) live tweeting of all the e3 stuff probably saw me whine about how it was the game I wanted the most. But... its Xbone exclusive. I don't want an Xbone, I told myself. It's not worth buying an Xbone for ONE game, I said.

Well then on Wednesday morning, Insomniac posted about how they were doing a ~public event~ in Los Angeles showing off Sunset Overdrive, doing giving away some posters (for pre-ordering the game) and some other stuff. I was at work, and I immediately started debating. Should I go? I loved the last Insomniac event I went to, probably the most fun I've had at something in a long long time. Surely it would be similar... right?

Well, I went. AND IT WAS AMAZING. I got to play the game too! IT IS ALSO AMAZING. The mode I got to play was a multiplayer mode, but I got to play with all the weapons it has the I love the colorful art style and fast movements. There is a gun that shoots vinyl records. And another one that shoots explosive Teddy Bears. LIKE REALLY. The worst part (for me) was that the demo came without an inverted Y axis so it was a bit difficult for me to play. I'm one of those people that ALWAYS has to switch the axis. (for those who don't know, it means making the camera controls so down is up and up is down) I don't know why? It's always been that way. Even if I forget to change it when I start playing my camera angle is immediately shoved into the floor and I know why. My brain is just wired that way!! So I kept having to make an extra effort to turn the camera.

I still managed to get 3rd place in my group though. Somehow. I was also in the first group of people ~in the public~ (ie: not E3 attenders) that go to play Sunset Overdrive.

I also got a super cool signed poster...which I unfortunately am unable to share a picture of... becauuuuuuuuse as I'm typing this my cell phone just broke. For... no real reason.

WELL I guess I know what I'm doing for the rest of the afternoon.

So today I got a box in the mail with some more plush toys in it because i'm a responsible adult and i do what i want!!!!!

But anyway the contents of the box got me realizing I accidentally all the twilight sparkle...

This wasn't even something I was intentially trying to do. I just kept being like OH THIS ONE IS CUTE I JUST NEED IT BECAUSE REASONS!!!!!!1 and today when 4de twilight came in the mail i was like ".....is this my 6th twilight sparkle doll" ....the answer was yes, yes it is, Anto.

So I decided to do what any person would do with 6 twilight sparkle dolls.

so 2013 is over and im not sure how i feel about 2014 yet. I mean, good news is I get to go see Kayla in her homeland of michigans on the 6th. I am so in need of a vacation. I haven't been away for ages.

Although, I've been having a lot of pain again, and I'm worried (slightly) that its the cyst trying to ruin my fun times by becoming infected again. If it is, I'm pretty much screwed as the other doctor said he couldn't do anything for me and I needed a specialist... specifically "my specialist" but I don't have one? I don't even know where to start with that. I definitely DON'T want to go back to the same hospital that mucked everything up last time. Just. No. I dunno. I just want it to stay infection-free for all of january, and then when im less stressed out I'll start looking into surgery #2, since its essentially my only option at this point. Again.

Oh and last night I fell down the stairs of the house I was house sitting for. Like, seriously?? I'm not used to stairs at all because I don't have them in/around my house now or growing up, and I tried to go down them in the dark. BIG MISTAKE. my foot caught the edge and my ankle turned into a wet noodle and i fell. Probably have some bruises but whatever. My ankle feels weird still. It doesn't specifically hurt but it just feels really off. I can tell I tweaked it on the stairs but I guess it doesn't seem too bad then I shouldn't complain. I just feel like an idiot. e_e

Otherwise I've just been playing a lot of video games. :I been on a Ratchet and Clank kick lately. Got the platinum trophies in the first two games, need the platinum in ratchet 3 and 4 (deadlocked) and then I'll have it for every single Ratchet game, since I already have them in all the ps3 titles. :x yay.

I feel like I might play through all the games in order though. Also I'm pretty excited for the movie to come out...even though its not for a while off yet. hopefully we'll see more trailers and stuff for it this year. yay.

I'm gonna work on filling out the 2013 game review thing I've posted the past couple years, but I'll post it in a new post since this one got a bit lengthy. lol

the only launch game i bought was Killzone: Shadow Fall. A game I wanted to play a lot but was also extremely butthurt about because I heard it took place 30 years after killzone 3. And...Killzone 3 is my favorite in the series because of .....well...... look at my icon.

Kayla is coming to visit again next month, just happened to book the weekend that my birthday is on too, which is exciting! I've done... well... absolutely nothing for my birthday for 5 or so years (I don't actually remember) so it'll be really fun I think.

Sucky thing is she's only going to be here for a few days ahhhhh

I'm glad this news happened when it did though. I was feeling super down for a while. I won't really go into specifics, as it's not important, but pretty much as soon as she told me she bought her plane ticket it was like....poof gone. It's weird. But I'm extremely glad because ugh. UGHHH. I'm still not sure if my depressed periods are related to anything (hormonal) or just because I am a thing. I mean, I've had issues for pretty much as long as I can remember, and I used to go through random spikes of it being especially bad for a week or two, and then it would stable out... but lately? It's been very constant... until Kayla said she was visiting. :I I don't know what to make of that. I really don't.

BUT WE HAVE PLANS!!!! I'm actually super thrilled she's coming when she is because of the amusement parks here. :3 We're going to go to Knott's Halloween Haunt this year (on the day of my actual birthday, not because its my birthday specifically, but because the tickets were the least amount of money on that day vs the other days she was here. LOL) I haven't been to THAT in...gee...years. YEARS AND YEARS. Probably was the last time I went to Knott's in general. SO I AM EXCITEMENT. We're going to go dressed up as Dan and Chris too... hooray for subtle costumes!

And then today she sent me a picture of something from the Long Beach Aquarium saying she wants to go...!!! So we will likely be doing this too, as soon as I figure out how much it is. :'D but we probably are going to go anyway because we already decided to bring my Dan and Chris dolls along for pictures in front of various sea creatures.

And....hopefully if all works out, I can hitch a free ride to Disneyland on my brother's employment there. :) GOTTA DO ALL THE THINGS AND STUFF.

What's tomorrow!?!? why this of course.

Everyone who asked about coming I have added to the group we will use to chat in. I guess no one can see the group until I send a message to it though, but I will wait until 10~20 minutes before the start of the first airing before sending a message. I am still a little paranoid about bugging people. BUT IT IS THERE ALL READY...!!

The stream will be on another site, and will most likely be passworded which you will be able to get from the chat. Kayla and I don't want random joes from the stream site to wander in and be like what. SO YEAH.

Also I will be on voice chat! My voice is weird and sometimes I stutter when I get excited (chances of this happening are like 100% at some point jsyk) so I just want to ~warn you~ for that. You don't have to join voice chat if you don't want to, but you should still opt into the voice call even if you don't have a mic or you won't be able to hear me (or Kayla or anyone else who happens to be on mic) talking.

I REALLY DON"T KNOW HOW TO SKYPE but this is the things I've been told about it by ~skype veterans~. Honestly I rarely use it myself. So let's hope I don't muck it all up. :D~

I WILL BE ON THE CHAT ALL DAY but i will likely need to charge my head set between showings. It's pretty decent but it can't last 12 hours....lol. I think about 6. I use a slightly squeaky wireless ps3 headset that works lovely on my PC (i have tested this before. it works)

As the other entry says no one has to hang around all day or even for an entire showing. I'm going to see if I can keep the chat subtitle updated with the current episode we're playing because... i want to? Organizational purposes? Unless I forget about updating it which might happen

WHAT IF I STREAMED DAN VS FOR SOME OF YOU GUYS and we all watched it together?!

That's how it started. A passing thought... but when a couple people expressed interested I looked into making this a reality. My conclusions are: my computer cannot do this.

so then Kayla came in and saved the day!!! my co-conspirator in everything I do...!

So basically it's come down to this: We can absolutely stream Dan Vs for you.

If you are interested here is what I am curious about:

-What day are you interested in doing this?

-What chat program would you prefer to use so we can ~hang out~ while watching the same video. (optionally we can use the site we're streaming from (twitch) but if we use a program most people have installed already it prevents you from having to sign up somewhere else)

-If Chat program: Voice Chat or no? I would be okay with talking to you guys during this BECAUSE ITS DAN VS if you guys would be alright with me in general and my (slightly) squeaky PS3 headset I use on my PC. However if we did this this pretty much means we'd have to use skype...!

let me know and then we can set this up and Kayla and I will make up a playlist of episodes and finalize the details.

all the ps4 news that came out today has me super excited for all the new games. gfjgjdklgl. they're also remaking a game i've always kind of loved because i remember watching my brother play it when I was too small to comprehend games... (plus it was a computer game so im not too great with those, especially then haha) It was on the amiga 500 we used to have and i just....

it's so weird lol. I mentioned it a little on twitter and its funny how excited I am to see more for this game? I wish I knew what studio was working on it. I want to see more. D:

I'm not sure if I'll be buying the remake or not, but I am definitely going to be keeping my eye on it. The game is Shadow of the Beast, if you're curious. It came out in 1989. It's really weird they're suddenly just doing a remake for this. o_o

I wanted to talk to someone all day about how excited I am about this but ... no one can relate ?? I guess the next time I see my brother I'll tell him about it if he hasn't heard but he usually brushes off any game related stuff I bring up. ha. Even though this IS Shadow of the Beast and he played the crap out of that game... I'd like to think he cares? I DON'T KNOW.

its also weird that they're remaking this game when they shut down studio liverpool last year (was it last year? i dont remember -_-) considering it used to be psygnosis.............the studio that MADE shadow of the beast. :| lol
