Regional Representatives

The Regional Representatives (RR) coordinate the activities of ANSOLE in the African region under their jurisdiction, in permanent consultation with the National Representatives. He or she may be assisted by a Vice Regional Representative (VRR) and is expected to fulfil the duties of the National Representative in countries where there is no NR. National representatives

The activities of ANSOLE in the different African countries are coordinated by National Representatives (NR) assisted by Vice-National Representatives (VNR) appointed by the Coordinator. The duties of the National and Vice-National Representatives are as follows:

  • Coordinate the activities of ANSOLE in the country.
  • Make ANSOLE known in the country
  • Appoint focal points (persons) of ANSOLE in various higher education institutions of the country
  • Organize national ANSOLE meetings
  • Collect information on “who is who” in both solar energy research and business in the country for the ANSOLE database
  • Submit a quarterly report on the activities of ANSOLE in the country. This report will be published on the ANSOLE website: ansole.org.
