Membership

Promoting research, education and vocational training in renewable energy (RE) among Africans and non-Africans with a special focus and relationships with Africa.

Any juristic person who accepts the goals and objectives of ANSOLE as defined at the Linz meeting can become a member, either by downloading and filling the membership application form and sending it by email to the coordinator (daniel.egbe@ansole.org) or by filling the interactive membership application form. Researchers are, in addition, requested to send their scientific CV to the coordinator.

For the moment, a member can revoke his/her membership simply by sending an email to the coordinator and informing him. A member loses the membership, if the person commits deeds which are harmful to the interest of the network.

Two types of membership are possible: “active membership” and “normal membership”. Active members are those who pay the yearly membership fee:

  • Personal membership (30€/year for African students & 50€/year for non-African students or workers) 
  • Institutions (200€/year for African institutions & 350€/year for non-African students)
  • Companies (600€/year for African institutions & 1000€/year for non-African students)

“Active” members influence the decision making in ANSOLE and have voting and other rights. Members who cannot acquit their yearly financially contribution are “normal” members. They can participate in the activities of ANSOLE and benefit from its services, but do not have voting and other rights. This type of membership is limited to individuals. Institutions and companies can only be active members.

Institutional and company members as well as sponsoring entities (minimum 600€ per year) can place their logo and links to their website on ansole.org.

Membership to ANSOLE e.V. is automatically membership to ANSOLE international.
