Contact point for people of African origin (AMAH)

Consulting – Support – Mediation – intercultural activities – Anti-racism educational activities

Through the project AMAH (Anlaufstelle für Menschen afrikanischer Herkunft (Contact point for people of African origin)) ANSOLE e.V. wants to act as a bridge builder between the Africans living here (in Jena and the surrounding area) and the German society. The AMAH project has the following goals:
  • Support and counseling of African people, especially students, new migrants as well as refugees in Jena and neighboring villages.
  • Support in case of discrimination
  • Intercultural exchange and knowledge transfer
  • Reduction of stereotypes, prejudices and racism
  • Transfer of expertise – advice for companies/organizations in Germany that want to get involved in Africa
  • Networking and cooperation with migrant and German organizations
