The last time I did this was... the middle of June. I'm... sorry. I meant to keep up on it, but it didn't happen.

First, the report:
getyourwordsout 2021. I got to 273,109 of 300k, and I'm actually happy with that.

inkingitout 2021. Same as above.

My 101 goals in 1001 days list is still coming along. I have 42 done, 13 in progress, and 11 that I haven't started. I failed 7, and Re-evaluated 28. A lot of those are due to the pandemic - I'm not going visiting or doing other things like that because I don't want to get sick or somehow get others sick.


For this year:
getyourwordsout I have decided on going with 300k again. I was really close this year, and I think I'll be able to do it again. And actually reach it, I think.

inkingitout Same as above.

Still working through my My 101 goals in 1001 days, although it ends this year. Middle of July, in fact.

100fandomhell I signed up for this, and the main page for it is here on Dreamwidth, and here on AO3. Because, as I said: I've been in Fandom Hell for a long time, and now it's time to prove it! Anyway, it's been a blast, and I did reach one little goal I had earlier: I wanted to have more posted on the comm than anyone else there. I have 23 fandoms posted, and 36 written, most after 25 still in rough draft stages. Naturally, some of these are so old no one reads them anymore, so... yeah. I'm not getting a lot of hits on them.

12 Week Year, starting 27 December, ending 27 March 2022. I'm trying to get into shape, both physically and creatively, for a trip to Costa Rica in March (it's a dh work thing).

And I think that's everything. Oh, no, not quite. I'm going to participate in the snowflake_challenge, too, I hope. I'm going to try, anyway. But first, I need to finish setting up 2022 and clearing up 2021. Which I should be doing, but I was stuck on a fic for most of last night and much of today (I didn't get dressed until 2:30 this afternoon).

Okay, it started fine, it wasn't bad, it was just... just a week. Busy, because the two still in school had rehearsals for the concerts at the end of the week, and my oldest (M) was not feeling well. she couldn't catch her breath, called in sick on Tuesday from work.

ETA: Not 1.5 hours after I posted this. they came in to tell us she could go home - and after THE fastest ever discharge, I picked her up in front of the hospital almost exactly 2 hours after. So we're home, and she's showering (feels gross, as I suspect you can guess). What a relief.

So, I finished. I didn't make my goal, however, because I ran out of outline. Still, wrote over 66k words this month, just 10k short of what I wanted to write. Which means I have about 50k left to write, and then a 200k + fic to edit and... gah. This is going to take forever.

Other things - I've been watching some weird things on YouTube, but one thing that came across my dash was the new songs (Kpop) from last week. It included a bunch I knew about - Monsta X, Onewe (Star is the most gorgeous thing, I swear, they get better with every realease), and a couple others, and this one by Ghost9, called Control.

I'll admit, the mv gave me plot bunnies, and I wish I knew them better, but that's a story for another day. Today, I was listening to the teaser for the MV, and just about freaked out. The baseline in the chorus is from one of my favorite classical pieces. Der Erlkönig was a poem by Goethe, and Franz Shubert put it to music. Here is one recording of it. That base line is in the chorus of this song. And gah, does it do things. Here's the Control MV, and the first instance is at 0:12 (with a truly fun bit of choreography).

Anyway, so that's on my mind. I thought I'd share.

I have officially reached all of my outlining, and crap. I thought I'd have more words, more time. Well... here we go.

Still, I'm pretty happy with how it's gone, and so I'll spend the rest of this month outlining so I can write more. I'm on track for the 200k words.

I'm still not sure I'm going to do this. By the time I'm finished, it'll be a dead fandom. It's how I roll.

So I checked. I have now written about 146k on this thing - which means I'm about on track to hit 200k - and I'm stalling again. it's huge, and I knew it would be, but this...

I don't know if it's even going to be worth it.

We saw Clifford tonight. it's a darling movie, and I really enjoyed it. It meant, too, that I got in an hour and a half of knitting. Yay me! So I'm almost back to the point where I unraveled it all, thinking I was wrong, only to find out I wasn't. Gah. Really.

Oh, this is getting to be something I'm worried about. Like, I don't know if I've outlined this long enough... no, if I've outlined far enough so I don't have to stop and do it while I'm also doing Nano. that would really be horrible.
