The Ancient Burying Ground Association is a non-profit organization committed to the conservation of Hartford’s oldest colonial site, the Ancient Burying Ground, in the heart of downtown Hartford. This extraordinary outdoor museum is a living example of Puritan art and religious, political, economic and social history. The region’s best conservators and craftspeople undertake the enormous task of rescuing grave markers, monuments and memorials that are at risk from the nature and the elements every day.
