Firmware
Good firmware is key to profitability
Firmware is essentially the software that runs Bitcoin mining hardware. It controls everything from clock frequency & core voltage to fan speed and network configuration. Aftermarket firmware can offer a range of benefits, including improved efficiency and extended hardware lifespan. Current generation Bitcoin miners come with factory firmware that allows configuration and monitoring via a modern web interface. However, most factory firmware lack advanced features that allow users to run their miners with alternative cooling (inline fans & immersion), auto-tuning, over/under-clocking, advanced thermal management etc. This is where aftermarket firmware like BraiinsOS+, Vnish, LuxOS & ePIC UMC Powerplay can help.
We’ve done extensive benchmarking and analysis on Antminer firmware options and partnered with a few 3rd party firmware companies to provide copies of their firmware on our website.
