About Our Team
Aviral Shukla
Founder & General Manager
Aviral Shukla is the founder of Altair Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Purdue University and has prior work experience with Intel Corporation and Bayer AG. Aviral holds multiple US Patents in the field of data science and his work is widely published and cited in a multitude of peer-reviewed publications. Aviral started mining Bitcoin in 2016 in St. Charles, Missouri. What started as a hobby with a few ASIC miners in his basement, slowly grew into a megawatt scale mining operation. Aviral founded Altair Technology in 2021 with a goal to simplify hardware procurement and demystify bitcoin mining for new miners.
Kris Konicki
Customer Success Specialist
Kris is based in Northern Michigan. He began his Bitcoin journey in late 2018 after his business needed to accept online payments while his card processor was down. After selling his business, he knew his next path would lead to Bitcoin. Eager to learn as much as he could, he dove into GPU mining, which quickly progressed to ASIC mining. He started mining inside his home with just one ASIC miner and some GPUs. Over time, he built a dedicated outbuilding to increase his mining capacity and improve efficiency. While doing so, he continued down the Bitcoin rabbit hole, learning and absorbing as much information as possible, and earning numerous blockchain certifications. He has helped build a small/medium sized mining farm inside a manufacturing facility outside of Detroit and assisted many other small-scale miners with their setups. Kris has a passion for Bitcoin and loves helping fellow miners on their journeys.

Brody is a leading expert on custom 120V miners, including Loki rigs, as well as custom modified Bitaxes, NerdQaxe, and other home mining setups. He has in-depth experience with all aftermarket firmware and has experience in miner repair and farm management.

I submitted a request to investigate what happened, I unplugged it and let it sit for hours (hoping it would do a rest of some kind), it didn’t fix the problem. It starts mining then goes on and off line via the wifi, then it just stops mining all together. Hopefully we can get this issue resolved soon.

I had their techs install the Vnish custom firmware, as I am new to mining and don’t have the same experience that others may have with customizing firmware and so on. The miner I purchased is advertised at 151TH. With said custom firmware I am getting closer to 200TH. Even received good tech support for an issue I caused. Verified ownerI ordered this control board in an effort to repair a brand new Antminer S19K pro. Unfortunately, there are other problems with said miner and it is currently at a repair depot. When the miner gets fixed, I’ll have a fallback control board for it.
Altair shipped the product which I received quickly, and at a fair price. I have already ordered another miner from them, which I should receive in a few days.
