This is the Privacy Policy ("Privacy") of Akkuro by Topicus B.V., located at Singel 25, 7411 HW in Deventer, and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under registration number 63423715. At Akkuro, we are committed to protecting your privacy. What personal data is collected
When using Akkuro.com, we processes the following personal data for the following purposes:
- When you contact us via the contact form on our website or request a demonstration of the Akkuro platform: we process your name, your (e-mail) address, and any other (personal) details that you share with us, including your comments (request, question or complaint). We do this in order to be able to facilitate the provision of our services, to take note of your comments, to contact you and to keep you informed of the progress of the handling of your request.
- If you register for a newsletter or an events we process your name and e-mail address and any other (personal) details that you share with us. We do this to inform you about the developments within Akkuro and about our services. If you no longer wish to receive this information, you can unsubscribe via a link in the relevant newsletter email.
- If you request to download a white paper we process your name and e-mail address and any other (personal) details that you share with us. We do this to verify that it is a valid download.
We cannot fulfill your requests without having the above information.
In the context of our legitimate interest (being able to improve our website and in the context of compliance with laws and regulations) we process the following data:
- When visiting our website: we process the unique identification and statistics regarding pages viewed, traffic to and from the website, the time of your visit, the referring URL, any keywords you use, the operating system you use, the web browser you used, specifications about the device or device you use. Third parties
Your personal data will not be shared with other parties apart from the purposes mentioned above, with the exception certain third parties engaged by Akkuro listed under disclosure purposes.
Third parties engaged by Akkuro must comply with strict security requirements and have committed themselves to Akkuro not to use the data for purposes other than those mentioned above. Therefore, they are not allowed to use the data for their own purposes.
Disclosure purposes
We will not provide your personal data to third parties without your consent, unless the following cases apply:
- We provide your personal data to sub processors which may process personal data under the responsibility of Akkuro. We will ensure that it contractually guaranteed that these sub processors will never process data outside the scope of this Privacy Policy, and that technical and organizational measures are taken to safeguard your personal data against unintentional loss or destruction or damage of this personal data.
- We may provide your personal data to any third parties of which you have explicitly stated that it is permitted for these parties to process your personal data, and/or in so far this information cannot be traced back to you.

Storage period
The storage period will be no longer than 6 months after your personal data has been processed. If you have registered for our newsletters your personal data will be saved for 1 year for that purpose specifically. Before this period expires, we will contact you to confirm whether you consent to keeping your data for another year.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, and any personal data will be deleted immediately. Please contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
