Action Button installation

Action Button purpose #

Action button is simple external push button device for ENTIRE R3 and TAG-E. It is used to manually (without accessing of WiFi or using QGC / drone) start and stop geotagging session.


Button is used applied mainly in non-drone application of our geotaggers.

Installation #

Connect UNI cable #1

  • Use included UNI cable
  • Connect one end to Action Button unit

Connect UNI cable #2

  • Connect other end of the cable to the ENTIRE or TAG-E
  • Use UNI-B for the ENTIRE
  • Use any IO port for TAG-E

For the ENTIRE:

  • Navigate to ENTIRE’s WiFi configuration page
  • Set UNI-B mode to “Action Button”
    • Port in “Action Button” mode, will be always shown as “online”. If button does not work properly, make sure that connectors are connected fully and cable is not damaged

For the TAG-E:

  • Open QGC or MissionPlanner
  • Open parameter configuration
  • Set parameter IOx_MODE mode to 10
  • Save parameters
  • Set parameter FW_SAVE_CFG to 1
  • Save parameters
