Camera control and EXIF geotagging is done via one single USB-C connection and optional trigger detection connection. This is huge step forward from our previous solutions! No need for expanders, or other devices. Everything is done via single USB-C connection.
TAG-E provides full camera control via a single USB-C connection, including triggering, exposure adjustments, and remote activation of all camera buttons (like MENU or arrows) over USB. Entering MENU, navigating through all items, playing recorded images / videos. Control of: ISO | IRIS | S.SPEED | EXP.CORR | EXPOSURE MODE | AF ACTIVATION | AF MODE and many more.
Extended EXIF geotagging is a key feature of TAG-E. It embeds all essential data from the drone ecosystem directly into the metadata of JPG images on the camera’s SD card at the exact moment of capture. This significantly helps user to save time during data preparation for stitching or any other practical use of captured images.
TAG-E supports the Mavlink camera control protocol for seamless integration with control software like QGC. It is also MavCam backward compatible and fully supports all ENTIRE R3 commands for an easy upgrade!
Full camera control via QGC GUI
Full camera control via MP Plugin
Mission triggering, Triggering Photo / Movie
Automatic GPS & Attitude reception
Automatic time reception & Camera clock setting
Timesync protocol support
The PPS input brings a new level of time synchronization, enabling precise UTC time reception. With a PPS-capable GPS/RTK, you can achieve exceptional RTK geotagging accuracy with sub-centimeter precision!
