How to install and activate the AffLoc plugin on your WordPress site.

Installing AffLoc

AffLoc can be installed in two ways: via the WordPress admin dashboard or manually via FTP/file manager.

Method 1: WordPress Admin (Recommended)

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
  3. Choose the affloc.zip file you downloaded.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Method 2: Manual Upload

  1. Unzip the affloc.zip file on your computer.
  2. Upload the affloc folder to /wp-content/plugins/ via FTP.
  3. Go to Plugins in your WordPress admin and activate AffLoc.

After Activation

Once activated, you will see a new AffLoc menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar (with a location pin icon). Click it to access the plugin settings and start adding your link mappings.

Note: AffLoc requires WordPress 6.0 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher.
