Outcomes

Participants leave Pathfinder with:

  • A clear roadmap and prioritized milestones
  • A gap analysis highlighting key areas to address
  • Greater readiness for programs such as Frontier BioHealth or other commercialization pathways


All participating companies must demonstrate a direct presence in Virginia.

How Does it Work?

The program is asynchronous; applications are screened on a rolling basis and accepted participants begin the program at a mutually agreed upon date.               

  • Participants work with Life Science Commercialization experts Fat Robin during an intensive 90-day period to address priority topics, develop a strategic roadmap and key milestones. 
  • Activation Capital convenes all program participants on a regular basis, managing progress towards prescribed milestones and facilitating regional network opportunities to aid momentum. 
  • Companies demonstrating achievement of key milestones “unlock” the opportunity to recalibrate the roadmap & set new milestones with Fat Robin, as well as advance to Activation Capital’s Frontier BioHealth accelerator.


What does it cost? There are no fees or equity requirements to participate. Activation Capital is a State Authority of Virginia, dedicated to supporting the growth of the Commonwealth’s life sciences economy. Activation Capital covers the full cost of the programming with support from several of our funding agencies (SBA, VA DHCD, and GOVirginia)
