Activation Capital is an independent authority of the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as a leading innovation ecosystem development organization, providing social, knowledge, and financial capital to clusters, entrepreneur support organizations, and entrepreneurs – accelerating their progress through development and maturation.

Activation Capital is headquartered in Biotech Center, part of the 34-acre Virginia Bio+Tech Park dedicated to life science and biotech innovations in Central Virginia. Activation Capital provides access to lab facilities and professional office space.
We are focused on enabling commercialization of local BioHealth research, creating a replicable path from launch to seed funding for life science startups and building a BioHealth entrepreneurship hub in Central Virginia.
