Why Give?
In a world where misinformation and disinformation are used to divide us, Knowledge Network stands as a trusted, independent voice — delivering stories that enrich minds, foster understanding, and help create a more connected and informed society.
For over 40 years, people just like you have become true Knowledge Partners and played a vital role in sustaining this mission. Tens of thousands of donors each year ensure that Knowledge remains free and commercial-free, making high-quality public media accessible to all. In fact, donor support covers more than 40% of everything we do.

Knowledge Network is one of the few charities accredited by Imagine Canada.
The trustmark ensures you can feel confident that you are supporting an organization lauded for excellence in governance, accountability, transparency and management.

Legacy Giving and the Knowledge Endowment
Leaving us a gift in your will (a “bequest”) is a great way to provide countless hours of enjoyment, education and entertainment to future generations! Bequests and other types of planned gifts are added to the Knowledge Endowment Fund. This money is invested wisely and the capital is never touched. The annual interest and income from the Knowledge Endowment Fund is used each year to support programming. This way, planned gifts, like bequests, keep on giving for generations to come.

Living our Values: Accountable
Earning and keeping the trust of our community of viewers, donors and storytellers is key to our success. Accordingly, Knowledge is committed to upholding The Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethical Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights. These codes are available along with our Annual Service Plans, Annual Reports, recent Tax Return and many other disclosures and reports in our Reports and Policies section.
