PGA Junior League Golf 13U & 17U Teams (JLG)
Country Club of Fairfax is proud to have hosted one of four very first pilot teams in the Middle Atlantic PGA Section in 2012. Since then the section hosts over 300 teams and 1,000s of golfers. We have grown from 1 team to 4 teams of 2 13U teams and 2 17U teams. We compete in a league and league champs advance to playoffs in the region and beyond to a National Championship. The format competes as a two man team in a scramble competition. There are four matches in on competition and the winner is the team with the most "flags". In 2017 one of our 13U teams won our division and Linda was the All Star Captain and had 5 of our CCF teammates on the All Star team!! Teams form starting mid March thru July.

      Operation 36
Operation 36 is a golf development program designed to take beginners from their first swing to shooting par or better for nine holes. It uses a structured curriculum, weekly classes, on-course events, and a technology-based app to help participants learn the game in a progressive and engaging way. Instead of starting on a full tee box, participants begin at 25 yards from the green and move progressively further away as they improve their scores. These clinics range from ages 4 - 17 and run from the Spring through the Fall.

The Junior Golf Mission is to:
      • Create a fun and exciting environment in which to learn the game of golf.
      • Teach and demonstrate the rules, etiquette, and shot making ability.
      • Contribute to the total personal development of each Junior Golfer.
