Be prepared to be dazzled by images
Whoa pictures…
The map that comes with the example code is a rather large map 11×2 or 22 screens in total. While the map size is compressed, it still takes up valuable space, so we need to reduce it to our 1×1 map size.
Our Original map

It’s Huge!
Nice map, but it’s not what we need for this game. Ours will be a much simpler map, none at all. Just a single screen.
Drill to the /gfx folder and open up map.tmx to see the large map in all its glory, now it’s time to destroy it.
Drill to map – resize map

You can see the map is 175 tiles wide by 21 tiles high.

The tile layout for a Spectrum game using either FASE or Churrera is 10 tiles high by 15 tiles wide. This is based on a tile size of 16 pixels wide by 16 pixels tall.
So to resize the image, it’s a simple process of setting the tile hight and width to reflect this.

Press OK, Save and Bingo.
Map size achieved, back to your regular programming.
