Zonation GUI is a Windows desktop application for spatial conservation prioritization, developed by the Biodiversity Conservation Informatics Group at the University of Helsinki. It provides an intuitive interface to the Zonation core algorithms, helping planners and researchers identify and rank areas that collectively retain the highest biodiversity value while accounting for costs, connectivity, and other real-world constraints. The GUI streamlines project setup, scenario management, and results exploration, making advanced prioritization accessible without coding.
