What would be your last meal?
Salmon nigiri, tons and tons of it. Preferably from my favorite sushi place, Osaka. |

Well I had a nice, long entry typed up, but I lost it. While I was doing it I was looking for a new email since I haven't been getting ones from people, I happened upon rock.com and it downloaded a billion viruses and spyware onto my computer. So right now I'm just working to get all that out. I can barely get anything to run (and when it does, it's chug chug chug) and I'm actually writing this in notepad.
Here's my alternate email- zombiemonkey83@hotmail.com
I'm also still using my old one. So if you'd like to try emailing me again (please?) this address should work.
I want to apologize about my last entry, I know I sounded like a total asshole in it. I don't mean any of it though, sometimes I just type/talk before I think. Honestly though, you guys that have stood by me as much as you can through this mean more to me than you'll probably ever know. Some of my friends that don't even live in the same country as me have shown more loyalty and love then people (ok, mainly guys) that have told me they "loved me" here.
Two nights in a row I've gone into what we can only call right now is a seizure. I'm laying in bed, then I become insanely dizzy. I start hearing loud voices in my ear, but I can't make out what they're saying. I become paralyzed and basically panick my ass off until it passes. I thought this all took a few seconds but it turns out I black out for about an hour.
I turn 21 in less than a month, and it just got me thinking. I'm not where I want to be in life. I'm in the hospital, I'm at any number of doctor offices, and still at home. Sometimes I even use a cane because my legs get so weak. I'm going on anti depressants and seeing a psychologist again soon. Despite all that, I have so much hope. I don't know if it's optimism or just stupidity, but there it is.
On another note, I've now seen 7 Godard films and haven't seen Pauly Shore in anything in years, aren't you proud of me? |

Hey hey hey. It seems the days are going by really fast and the nights are pretty long, which is fine by me. I saw the chiropractor a few hours ago, and it was fantastic. My neck and ribs were out so I feel much better, though this migraine keeps on raging.
I got accepted to be an "official reviewer" at DVD Aficionado, which I'm happy about, I've always wanted to review movies even though I hate most reviewers (maybe that's why?) I submitted reviews for Love Me Tonight and Il Posto (you can see that one here if you want)
I finally watched my first Godard this morning, A Woman is A Woman. It was completely insane and adorable, I loved it, I also enjoyed all the Truffaut references. Right now I'm watching Irma La Douce which is brilliant, I completely love Billy Wilder. For years the only work of his I was familiar with was Sunsent Boulevard, Sabrina and Some Like It Hot. Now I've seen The Apartment, Witness for the Prosecution, Stalag 17 and One, Two, Three, so far I've either really liked or loved all of them, save for Sabrina where the chemistry between Audrey Hepburn and Bogart was ridiculous.
Geez, all I talk about is movies anymore! Well I hope everyone's August is going good so far, bye for now. |

Hi everybody. I'm just posting a quick entry to let you know I'm alive, since I have an unexplained aversion to writing emails. I'm still alive and stuff. Oh, and I joined Netflix again. That's about it. |

I saw Dummy today with Adrien Brody and Milla Jovovich, and I just gotta let you know that it's a FANTASTIC movie. So I recommend that next time you're scratching your head over what to rent. Very funny and sweet with wonderful characters. |

I'm leaving for Flordia on Thursday. I'm spending the weekend there with my mom, one of my aunts and grandma at the aunt's villa (I have an aunt with a villa, neat!) I wasn't going to go but I got coerced into it with a promised trip to Universal Studios. I LOVE that place, the one in California anyway. Do they have the Back to the Future ride in Flordia? I missed that one and really want to go on it.
I woke up in a lot of pain today, but now I feel great. I listened to the No Doubt Boom Box, and it just brought back so many memories. No Doubt had a huge part in my teen years and with my friends, heck they were my first concert back in 1997. It was a lot of fun to dance around like a dumb white girl and reminisce. They're still my favorite band, I just don't listen to them as much as I should.
I'm also renting the second season of The Dick Van Dyke Show on Netflix and that show always puts me in a good mood.
Mel: Rob, I did not come here to get insulted. Buddy: Oh? Where you usually go to get insulted? I'll go anywhere.
Haha, those two! |

Well I Netflixed "House of the Dead" because I heard it was so horribly bad. The combination of zombies and a video game that's one of my fave arcade games drew me in, yes I yam a sucker.
It's not that's it's like "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" bad, more like "A Poor B-Movie Somehow stumbled on a huge budget" bad. Clint Howard is usually oddly charming but in here he looks like that kid in the middle school drama class that hams up every line. Every other actor seems as if they've never spent time with other human beings and act like robots. I don't like female nudity in the first place, but every topless girl in here has weird boobs, which was scarier than the "zombies". Anyway, everyone knows it's bad so I'll shut up.
I did have SOME hopes since Dave (The Dead Hate the Living!) Parker co-wrote the script, but I guess he dosen't do so well when he's working for a studio. So forgo this, and rent "The Dead Hate the Living!" Horrible CGI, goofy dialouge, but the makeup is fun and the actors with no experience are actually pretty good. Plus the zombies rock. |

I'm back! Had a wonderful time, thank you. Um, personal stuff is boring, so I want to ask anyone who might read this to answer.
What are some good platformer, fighting and survival horror games for PS2? Lesser known, the better. Gracias! |

Wooo! I'm going to Indiana soon, so everyone can miss me NOT updating my journal.
I finally saw "Return of the King", which of course was amazing. I will have to see it more than once to really get the full scope of it, as you can't fully appreciate a movie when you're thinking about your bladder during the last 15 minutes of it. |
