I'm having a little friends cut, of people that I'm just not getting along that well with. Either you aren't commenting, not interacting with me either here or on your journal or we just don't have much in common. Sorry!
I have a problem with one person in particular who keeps doing something with my journal that is very irritating (and I think rude) and is driving me up the wall, but there are many mutual friends around so I can't really say much, as I don't wish to offend, I just want to remove myself from the situation.

Friending Frenzy

So I'm trying it too, and this is shamelessly taken from his post:
The idea is simple. What happens, from what I have seen, is if you want to make new chums post a comment on this entry and say “I would like new chumz” and include a little bit about you or a link to your info page. Then, you have a look at other peoples similar comments and see if anyone on there tickles your fancy and say hello, add them or tell them to fuck off and never darken your LJ ever again. Of course this works better if you tell your chumz on your LJ what is going on in this post. Link to it so they too can get involved, or indeed, why not hold your own.

See it like a conference where you are all delegates. Who knows, the single people might find their future partner, or they might find the person that finally tips them over the edge…it’s a fun game we can all play :D

Of course, you are more than welcome to totally ignore this post and carry on regardless. It is totally voluntary. I mean you might not want any old riff raff reading your journal and that I totally understand that. Or you might already know everyone on my Flist or not want to know anyone on my Flist (why that is? I have no idea, seeing as all my Flisters are really good friendly chaps and chapesses who all have interesting things to say)

Been meaning to do this for a while, as it is the same select few who I interact with on here. This is visible to everyone, and will stay so for two weeks to deal with anyone who might be on holiday, and then after that anyone who hasn't commented obviously isn't looking anyway ;0) I seem to have people on my list that I don't know, who don't comment, who don't post and that just makes me feel paranoid. I want to have a relationship with the people on here, talk to them, otherwise I can't see the point. I'd rather have 40 people on my list that I know and like, than 100 that I never interact with.
