Saving is hard. We are here to help. Create a monthly savings group with your close friends. Everyone knows that saving is a good idea, but we find it hard to do. The temptation to dip into some of our savings is a hard one to avoid for all of us. Saving together is easy. Committing to a saving group with people you know ensures that you won't skip payments - and therefore you will achieve your savings goals. Keep each other motivated. Savings Groups are self-selected groups of 5 to 30 savers to pool their monthly savings. Meetings are usually regular, each member contributes the same amount at each meeting, and each member gets a larger sum of money once, and use it for whatever purpose she or he wishes. As many participants put it: you can t save alone. So what are you waiting for? The simplest and most common form of savings group is called the Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA). A more flexible variation of this is called the Accumulating Savings and Credit Association (ASCA) and a more complex form, is the Credit Union or Savings and Credit Cooperative
