I want to Sync iTunes for Zedge and other ringtones app. I don't use computer so I want to sync from this phone.

You need to make sure you meet the requirements of the application. According to the official website, the software requires:
Windows XP, 7 or 8
iOS 5.0 or later
iTunes 9 or later
The first thing to do is to update the iTunes package. Make sure to download the latest package, then install it. After this procedure, browse to the official Zedge ToneSync page and download the latest version. There is also a video to guide you how to use the software.
I am getting the following message: "Welcome to Zedge Tonesync for iTunes retrieving configuration from Zedge servers. Error connecting to iTunes. Please verify your iTunes installation. Zedge ToneSync will keep trying".

As you can see in the error, there is a problem with the Zedge servers. I don't see the connection of online servers and iTunes, but you should reinstall it or at least perform a repair operation. Go to Start > Uninstall a program (search box). Locate iTunes, then click on Uninstall. Choose Repair and wait for the process to finish. Once it's finished, make sure that it's allowed to connect to Internet in Firewall and try using Zedge again.

There is no special procedure that needs to be done in order to sync tunes with another iPhone. Simply connect the iPhone to PC and make sure iTunes detects it. Before that, Windows will automatically install the drivers. Click the iPhone in the iTunes and check the option from the left menu related to PC connection. While the phone is connected, press to download a track and then wait for iTunes to synchronize it. The Sync Tunes needs to be checked in the Music section on iTunes.
I have downloaded the app on my iPhone, however, I cannot start downloading ringtones until I have downloaded the Zedge software on my Windows 7 computer.
I keep getting a pop-up message saying 'An error occurred attempting to download Zedge Tonesync' but doesn't give me any additional information on how to fix it etc. I am racking my brains attempting to download it and it's driving me a bit crazy!

ToneSync can be downloaded from the official website. Download the application, and set it up then follow the wizard instructions and you'll be able to use it.
No matter how hard I try to download Tonesync it always tells me to save, but never run and it doesn't even save because I can't find it on my computer. Am I doing something wrong?
Click on link and save the file where you want it or simply press Ctrl + J on your keyboard to open the Downloads menu. Right click ToneSync and open it. Follow the instructions to install the application.
