Version History Minor bug fixes. 1.6.1 09/12/2018 We’re very happy to release this new version of Zany Touch with some great new features and updates requested by users. We’ve updated the Sound & Music settings with separate enable controls for the lobby sounds, voice, effects, and music. The voice, effects, and music controls also include a volume slider to fully customize the sounds while playing the game. Test what your settings will sound like in the game by enabling the Sound Test option. The New Game menu now includes a Practice button that allows you to play the Zany Touch game in Practice Mode using your own combination of selected gestures and an optional Response Time selection. Use Practice Mode to get better at troublesome gestures or to play the game leaving out your least favorite gestures. When you finish, Practice Mode displays information on how well you did including number of correct and incorrect responses, best response time, and average response time. For players using Apple’s VoiceOver technology, the current score and remaining game lives are now read during the game and the final score is read when the game is over. We’ve switched to using the Apple Share Menu to provide more ways to share scores and information about the app. Other updates include support for iPhone X screens and a new page for viewing Game Center Achievements. Other minor updates and bug fixes. 1.5.1 04/25/2017 Two major features have been added to this version of ZanyTouch. ZanyTouch now supports a Multiplayer mode via Apple Game Center that allows up to four players to compete in a head-to-head match. Each player's score and status are displayed during the game. ZanyTouch games now come with one free Game Life and up to two additional Game Lives taken from a Life Pool. Each time a mistake is made during a game one Game Life is lost until there are no lives remaining at which point the game is over. Players can now make up to two mistakes without ending the game, leading to higher scores. The Life Pool comes with an initial supply of 20 Game Lives. Additional Game Lives can be earned by reaching certain scoring goals or they can be purchased in packs through in-app purchase. We've also made some other minor updates and bug fixes to improve performance, stability, and the look and feel of the app. We hope you enjoy the new multiplayer mode and that you can get some higher scores through the new Game Lives feature. 1.5 04/17/2017 First we want to say "Thank You!" to all our Zany Touch users who sent in feature requests and feedback. We really value your input! This version now integrates with the iOS Voice Over accessibility feature so Zany Touch gestures and Voice Over gestures no longer conflict. We hope that this makes the game more playable and enjoyable for the blind and visually impaired. In addition we added 40 achievements to Game Center. You can now earn achievements for reaching certain score levels, five-game score averages, number of plays per day, and for playing each day of one or more weeks. The last major update is a new game pause feature. By pressing the screen with one finger you can now temporarily pause the game to take a quick break if things start to get too stressful. You can also use it to skip challenges like "Shake" that may be distracting to others. However there is a point penalty for pausing so don't pause for too long! Finally, we've made some other minor updates and bug fixes to improve performance and stability. We hope you enjoy this latest version of Zany Touch. 1.4 07/25/2015 We have finished a complete overhaul of Zany Touch to support the latest iPhone and iPad devices and to correct freezing at the end of a game. We've also added a new connection to Apple's Game Center leaderboards so you can now check your ranking and challenge friends more easily. Enjoy!
