Z-DBackup is a fast, reliable, and versatile backup solution designed for both PCs and servers, catering to home users and businesses alike. It offers 1:1 file copies and supports backups to compressed and optionally encrypted archives. Additionally, Z-DBackup can handle complete system backups and restorations for Windows environments.

The program operates seamlessly both locally and across networks. It supports backups to NAS drives, network shares (including those with authentication), tape drives, Blu-ray discs, and other common backup destinations. Each backup job's settings are stored in Backup Sets, which can be easily re-run with a single click or scheduled for automatic, time-based execution.

With its comprehensive features, Z-DBackup ensures that data protection is straightforward and adaptable to various needs, making it a reliable choice for efficient backup management.

Z-DBackup includes features for folder synchronization as well as versioned backups where several old versions are kept available. For quick and space-saving versioned backups, the differential/incremental backup options copy only the data that was changed after the last backup or the last full backup.

Z-DBackup ensures that oft-needed backups are easily accessible by allowing the user to get desktop shortcuts for starting individual backup jobs, which can also shut down the computer after the backup, if desired.

Z-DBackup is freeware for personal use. For business use, a license is needed.
