Who we are
Our Journey of Compassion and Impact
Founded in 2020, the Youth Voices and Action Initiative (YVAI) grew from a passionate grassroots network Kilifi, Coast of Kenya, driven by young women committed to improving the lives of women and girls in their communities. Officially registered in 2021 by the Department of Social Services, YVAI was sparked by significant challenges that local women and girls faced in accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services.
OUR PHOLOSOPHY
At YVAI, we believe in people-centered, community-driven transformation. Our philosophy is rooted in the conviction that sustainable change begins with empowering individuals and communities to lead their own development. By fostering equity, inclusion, and resilience, we create an enabling environment where everyone can thrive.
