This community hosts announcements and news for Yuletide. Yuletide is an annual fic exchange for rare and obscure fandoms. If you are participating in Yuletide, we ask you to keep up with announcements. You can do that in the following ways:

• follow our Twitter, https://twitter.com/YuletideHippos, and click through to read the announcements when they’re posted there, or

You are welcome to comment on announcements on either the LiveJournal or Dreamwidth side of Yuletide_Admin. Where anonymous commenting is enabled, please include a name in your comment to help us keep track of whose opinion is whose. Please communicate with politeness and respect, even when you disagree with a decision - abusive language will result in banning.

Informal communities

• See http://yuletide.livejournal.com and http://yuletide.dreamwidth.org for general discussion. You don't have to follow these communities to participate in Yuletide, but you may find them interesting.


• Yuletide has an IRC chat - see instructions. This is a live chat where you can talk to other writers and also meet up with beta readers (by sending private messages to someone with Hippo in their name).
