Dear wonderful Yuletide writer,
First of all, you rock. ♥ This is my third year doing Yuletide, but only my second requesting anything, and I couldn't be more excited!
I like: angst, fluff, romance, falling-in-love, falling-in-love-all-over-again, self-discovery, introspection, friends becoming more than friends, friends being awesome friends, backstory, what happens after canon - really, I'm easy to please. As long as you feel like it fits the characters and the story you want to tell, go crazy with it. :D
I don't like: any sort of consent issues, unhappy endings - sad, bittersweet, those are fine. I just don't like things in the vein of "rocks fall, everyone dies."
If you need a reminder of my prompts, here they are:
Being Erica Erica/Julianne is my Being Erica ship of choice, and I've never read anything that pairs them together romantically - so if you can change this, it would be lovely. I haven't seen season four yet, so I'd appreciate not being spoiled for it. If Erica/Julianne makes you uncomfortable in a romantic sense, then the epic tale of their friendship is equally okay. I'm not particularly into any of Erica's boyfriends on the show, though, so I'd prefer not to have them around in a romantic context.
Prompts...really, anything goes. If you go the romantic route, I'd like to see how they go from friends to girlfriends, though. Any rating is okay.I love the time travel elements of this show and having the chance to fix the past and what that means for Erica. As I said, I'm not really crazy about any of Erica's boyfriends, although I did like Erica/Ethan in season 1. Dr. Tom being wise and insightful and helping Erica in his way is always nice, and, well, obviously my favorite part of the show is the relationship between Erica and Julianne.
Pretty Little Liars Oh gosh, anything goes with Spencer and Toby. With their current storyline, I'd prefer for as little angst as possible, but given the show, I understand if that's unavoidable. I also enjoy Hanna/Caleb, if you need a background pairing, but would prefer for Wren to be non-existent if at all possible. If you don't want to write Spencer and Toby together, then I'd like to see them as friends, but I really do prefer them as a couple.
Go wild with the prompt, all I ask is that they stay roughly the same age they are now, whether it's set during the show or in the near-ish future. I'm completely caught up with what has aired. Any rating is okay.I have my fill of Spencer/Toby angst from the show, right now, although if it was angst in the name of a reunion, then I'd be easily swayed! I think everything else I pretty much covered in what I said up there, but I love the quiet moments they share, and a fic that covers some additional quiet moments would be oh-so-lovely.
2 Broke Girls I ship Max/Caroline, but if the idea of them together isn't your thing, then, of course, them as friends who are dangerously close to teetering over that line anyway is just as good. More cupcake-related hijinks are always good, or what happens when they finally open that cupcake shop of theirs, or...well, the show constantly surprises me every week, so I'm sure whatever you came up with will too, if you're matched to me here. Or just more backstory on one/both of them and how they got to where they are. Or what passes for romance between them. Whatever works for you.
Any rating is okay, and I'm caught up with what has aired.I don't like Oleg, and Han is best in small doses. But, I mean, Max and Caroline are the heart and soul of the show! I just love how they're breaking down each other's walls and softening each other up, and Caroline is just adorable. I love both of them so much! ♥
Pan Am Oh, this show! It's so underappreciated, but I love it. Maggie's my favorite character, and I'd love to see more of her backstory or something focused on her, or Dean/Colette and their fledgling little relationship, or Colette and Maggie working together...any/all of them! I'm kind of a nut for aviation history, especially Pan Am, so any references to that would be extra fun for me, but I'm not expecting it.
Any rating is okay, and I'm caught up with what's aired so far.I'm not sure what more I can say that isn't in my prompt, but just anything involving those three in whatever combination would just tickle me. Except OT3. I like OT3s, but I can't see it for this show. Also, I love the subtle cues that the show includes to the time period. Actually, I pretty much just love this show in general.
Honestly, I'll pretty much love whatever you write, regardless of which prompt it's for, so don't stress about it. ♥ If you like it and have fun with it, then it's all in the spirit of the season, and I will enjoy it. Seriously.
