Interview Tips
Before the Interview
Make sure you’ve scheduled enough time for the interview (including travel time if needed), so you don’t feel rushed.
Do your research! Make sure you’re generally familiar with Upstream and what we do.
Dress appropriately. Your first impression is important and can have a lasting impact. If you’re unsure what to wear, you can always ask the interviewer or your recruiter beforehand!
During the Interview
Make sure you’ve silenced or turned off your phone.
Be confident and remain positive throughout your interview!
Come prepared with questions to ask your interviewer. It shows you’re invested in the process.
After the Interview
Ask for the next steps and an expected timeline for filling the position.
Send a follow-up! This is a great way to thank the interviewer and allows you to ask any questions you may have thought of after the interview.
