Welcome to YKK Graphics Tutorials. This community was founded by chibihalo. Here you'll learn how to create fun graphics for Livejournal, personal websites, and forums. You'll also get a better understanding of the basic tricks used in Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Animation Shop, Image Ready, and Gimp. Using these programs alone or together you'll be creating neat looking graphics to show off to everyone you know.
What the Community Is:
The aim of this community goes beyond just teaching you how to make fun graphics. The aim of the community is to give you the average user of these popular graphics creation programs an easy to follow and gramatically correct tutorials. After muddling through several well thought out tutorials that were hard to read it became the aim of the maintener of this community to make tutorials that make sense.
What the Community Is Not:
YKK Graphics Tutorials is not a place to get icons, banners, and web graphics. It is not a place to download fonts, brushes, gradients, or textures. Those are things you will learn to make through this community. This is not a community for making fun of people who do not understand the tutorials provided. Remember everyone at one time was a beginner. While this community will provide tutorials on how to understand some of the basics of the Paint Shop Pro, GIMP, and Photoshop families of programs it is not a general help community. We will, however, point you to helpful communities that will be more than happy to give you help.
So sit back, open up your program of choice, and have fun making graphics.
