anyway yes, we are back.  from ComicWorld TW @ Taiwan university.



It was cold, very very cold there. I fell sick since day2 of our trip, and currently cough till my stomach aches. Be seeing doc tomorrow, though i'm on leave.

CWT day1 we went as passer-bys and walked through the 636 booths sandwiched on-and-off in the scary crowds. Then we went outside trigger-happy on the many cosplayers outside the hall~ i also delightfully met a few TW coser-friends whom i've talked to online~ and even cosers from HK who went to the event~



CWT day2 we enjoyed ourself, amused ourselves with camwhoring, and well~ lenneth had fan-girls screaming at her at the event and glomping her LITERALLY! and not forgetting tonnes of fans pointing at the awesome hair of kanasaiii *lmao*



p.s.self-check with hotel elevator lift mirror because there were no full-life mirror in our room...

. till i have enough sleep later then i see what else i can update....zzz

since some of the pix are way too dark indoors, i had to brighten abit. Pls kindly excuse if you see noise.

Basically due to some reason, we ended up taking sunday 0645 flight instead and reached HK at around 11am. Probably wasted a near 1 hour over the unfound parcel and then another 1 hour cab-ride to the hotel. Camelia initially wanted to take the train down to the event and change/makeup there. I was glad i insisted changing in the hotel as we hear from 葵子(kui-zi) much later that there was no proper changing room as the event arrangement was pretty bad this round. Though guiltily... we reached very late orz

it was like suntec LOL
a few floors, and Rinka had told us to go to the 3rd floor(?). After a little while of getting lost, we finally found them at some corner XD
as they were still tidying up a few details, the 3 of us decided to walk around abit, as Ringo needs to find 帝(di) regarding a costume and Camelia want to find 噹子(dang-zi). Eventually Ringo and I went around seeing other cosers on other floors as Camelia stay with her gang downstairs.

There are too many Ranka(s), Sheryl(s) and Alto(s), i didn't bother to count...
there's a gacktopoid with Kaito and the twins though.
To sum up, there wasnt as much cosers as i thought, but then they were scattered all over the place... and photographers in general tag with their own clique of cosers.

Eventually we went back to group with Rinka, Bright and Akira and move as a clique. and so happened there was another coser who was cos-ing from the same series, so Rinka kinda grabbed her haha



That's probably when i finally start to see some familar faces?

yes i recognise 由(yuu), 澪(ling), 小詠(xiaoyong), 小5(xiao5), jan, koru but i didn't approach them as i never really talked to them online. 由(yuu) was cos-ing brera and she seriously looked good from any angles OTL sadly i couldn't find rainbow_angel and 藍若。

HK cosers have a habit of grabbing a photographer-friend then go private shoot at corners till late night. And it's REALLY late. I was getting a bit cracked by then. sorry.

to wait for Akira's friends for dinner. We took cabs to the cafe where they already made reservations and only ate at 1015pm LOL

Camelia has been going on non-stop about DIM SUM since day 1. Ok, so here we go.
we walked around got to a shopping complex where the restaurants are 4th floor and 6th floor, there's a direct lift. The buildings are so weirdly designed, we took quite a while to find the lift. Then we just decide to go into some emperor restaurant.

while ringo and me KO-ing, Camelia went happily clicking away and...



obviously can't finished. The pic is probably only showing 2/3 of what we ordered.

and we move on to shopping... or rather, go through Camelia and Ringo's to-buy list. Hunting for the shops. THE CROWDS ARE SCARY! I'm just getting too old to catch up with the young people...

the weather is so hot... icecream. Tofu and Lychee flavour~ yummy!



finally at 6.30pm,  to meet up with Camelia's idol 噹子(Dang-zi) + 泉子(Quan-zi) + 葵子(Kui-zi) for dinner :)

apparently Ringo and me can't really talk since we can't speak cantonese. 泉子(Quan-zi) and 葵子(Kui-zi) are really nice as they try to mix in chinese to chat with us. Plus the fact they are really bubbly and funny, always laughing away. 噹子(Dang-zi) is more shy as she sits at the side smiling and looking at us, occassionally cutting in her friends' conversation for some funny comments. Talked about work, school & cosplay. Exchanged some small tips on costume-making as well. It was a sweet relaxing evening despite i'm seriously terribly drained by then orz

day 4 aka wednesday, basically the last day of our trip.

morn we woke at 9 and went sham shui po according to directions by 葵子(kui-zi), who drew a map on and on almost non-stop the previous night.
it was OMFG damn big area so many streets so many shops so many samples so many colors so many textures and funny weird accessories we don't see in singapore. i so damn hate HK cosers for their resources.
I'm only shot at 2 shops out of the many shops...

anyway. After going just a couple of lanes we KO and gave up and settle down for lunch at one of the road stalls~





tried rushing through the opposite streets to go to the all-for-HKD-$10 shop 葵子 mentioned but can't find it and we were running short of time.



Headed back to hotel at 2 (the reception has kindly extended our checkout time to 3pm), packed then cab to reach airport at 4.30pm.



Claimed my confiscated weapon (taken away when boarding at SG and parcel lost when reached HK... sigh) and shit they broke it. Now i need to go to jetstar to negotiate for compensation. URG.

anyway, we checked in lotsa things.  Including the long roll of leather on the floor behind the lady, and the boxes of shoes on the luggage belt XD



some food before take-off. We had spaggetti and hong kong desserts. And i have absolutely no idea why were still running after the plane even though we reached the airport 4 hours before flight time.
