XRevert Icon

XRevert

Reverts icons and UI elements to those of prior OS X versions (was YosemiteRevert).

XRevertOverview

XRevert is previously known as YosemiteRevert.

XRevert (was YosemiteRevert) changes application icons, system icons (such as the folder icon), menu bar icons, and more, as well as the system font, in OS X 10.10 Yosemite and later back to the way they were in prior versions of OS X. It also makes changes to aesthetics, such as the "traffic light icons" and menu textures.

NEW

Changes

  • Fixes an issue where some aesthetic changes did not appear on windows with black/dark title bars if "Increase Contrast" is enabled in System Preferences

Known Bugs

  • Battery icon may be cut off by 1 pixel height when charging
  • Changing the system font does not work for OS X 10.11 El Capitan users
  • Time Machine icon "hands" do not show up in the menu bar in OS X 10.11 El Capitan
