Equal Opportunity: All participants, regardless of background, experience level, gender, ethnicity, or other characteristics, should have equal access to all resources and opportunities.

Harassment-Free Environment: Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes offensive verbal or written comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and unwelcome sexual attention.

2. Fair Hacking Practices

Original Work: All work submitted during the hackathon must be original. Plagiarism or copying from other teams’ projects is prohibited.

Resource Use: Utilize only the resources and technologies provided or allowed by the organizers. Respect any constraints set forth regarding the use of third-party APIs, libraries, and hardware.

Mentorship and Collaboration: While collaboration and asking for help are encouraged, direct coding or project work should be completed solely by the team members.

3. Treating Hardware and Equipment with Care

Respect for Provided Equipment: Handle all provided equipment, including VR headsets, AR glasses, sensors, and other hardware, with care. Follow all guidelines and instructions for using the hardware safely and responsibly.

Proper Usage: Do not attempt to modify or disassemble any provided hardware. Any issues or malfunctions should be reported to the organizers immediately.

Return of Equipment: All borrowed hardware must be returned in the condition it was received. Any damage caused by negligence or misuse may result in penalties, including financial liability.

4. Health and Safety

Physical Safety: Follow all safety protocols when using hardware, especially VR headsets, which can obscure vision. Be mindful of your surroundings to avoid physical injury.

Ergonomic Practices: Take regular breaks, especially when using VR or AR devices, to prevent eye strain, fatigue, and other health issues.

5. Conduct During Presentations and Judging

Respect for Other Teams: Support fellow participants by attending and respectfully observing their presentations. Avoid disruptive behavior.

Honesty in Presentations: Present your work honestly and transparently. Do not exaggerate or falsify the capabilities or development status of your project.

6. Reporting and Consequences of Violations

Reporting Violations: If you witness or experience any inappropriate behavior or misconduct, report it immediately to the organizers or designated staff.

Consequences: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including disqualification from the hackathon, removal from the venue, or reporting to authorities if necessary.
