In 2025, we created Xeo which combines that foundation with AI-assisted configuration to dramatically compress the time and cost of tailoring software. Maurice “Murph” McIver
Founder & Software Architect, Xeo Software
Before founding Xeo Software in 2001, Murph served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, including a tour near the Korean DMZ. That experience shaped a leadership style grounded in accountability, discipline, and responsibility for outcomes. Today, Murph is a software architect and business strategist who personally leads every Xeo engagement. With decades of experience working alongside founders and service-driven organizations across many industries, he specializes in translating business reality into durable systems, ensuring solutions address not just what was requested, but what the business actually needs to operate and scale with confidence.
Service and stewardship are consistent through Murph’s life and work. He has volunteered as a hospice caregiver, mentored youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters, and remains active in community organizations in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he applies the same discipline to personal growth—training in gymnastics and calisthenics, and staying active through skiing, cycling, and pickleball. That blend of operational rigor, long-term thinking, and personal accountability defines how Murph leads Xeo: hands-on, principled, and focused on building systems that hold up under real-world pressure.
