    Honoured to have been awarded this magnificent trophy for “outstanding contributions to design engineering” by the @InstEngDes. Such an incredible roll call of names around the base - Sir J. Ive, Heatherwick, Baylis, Dyson etc. In the 35yr history of the prize, I’m the 1st woman!

    This “sustainable power” facility in Kent imports wood from Canada, which it then burns to create electricity. Imagine the energy used to fell, transport across the Atlantic and then chip up these trunks prior setting them on fire. What a mad world we live in.
