    <460> Alhamdolilah, launched first School of Universal Health Coverage at @gihdstmuPHS to align public health education, training, service & research with UHC. An MoU was signed between @nhsrcofficial and STMU - a unique MoU between the government & the Pvt Sector to advance UHC.

    <352> I have resigned as SAPM. I came to 🇵🇰 on a personal invitation of @ImranKhanPTI leaving WHO. I worked hard & honestly. It was a privilege to serve Pakistan. I am satisfied that I leave at a time when COVID-19 has declined in 🇵🇰 as a result of a grand national effort.

    خدا کا شکر ہے کہ کرونا وائرس کے کنٹرول میں مجھے پاکستان کے لئے خقیر خدمات انجام دینے کاُموقعہ میسر ہے۔ وزیراعظم عمران خان کی قیادت میں انشاللہ اس جنگ میں پاکستان پہلے کی نسبت مضبوط ملُک کے طور پر اُبھرے گا۔ مجھے روزانہ بےشمار دعاوُں بھرے پیغام ملتے ہیں۔ آپکا دلی شکریہ۔

    Prime Minister Imran Khan was tested today for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus strain that causes coronavirus disease 2019 [COVID-19]. The test used was a polymerase chain reaction (PCR). I am happy to report that his test is NEGATIVE. <289>

    کورونا تیزی سے پھیل رہا ہے اور پچھلی دفعہ کی نسبت اس مرتبہ ذیادہ پاکستانی مر سکتے ہیں۔ ایس میں پی ڈی ایم کا اعلان کہ وہ باوجود پابندی کہ جلسے جاری رکھیں گے انتہائی غیر ذمہ داری ہے۔ مجھے امید ہے کہ سیاست دان عقل کے ناخن لیں گے اور سیاست سے ذیادہ لوگوں کی جانوں کی فکر کریں گے۔

    I can confirm that until now there is no corona related death in 🇵🇰. Geo report about a death in GB is incorrect. The corona virus test of the patient is -ve. I request media reporters that in rush to break the news first, please don’t misreport. Check your facts twice <261>

    220/ I can confirm first two cases of corona virus in Pakistan. Both cases are being taken care of according to clinical standard protocols & both of them are stable. No need to panic, things are under control. I will hold press conf tomorrow on return from Taftan.

    Face masks are now mandatory to be worn by everybody while in crowded public places, mosques, bazaars, shopping malls, public transport ie road, rail and flights. We have reviewed our guidelines for wearing masks and have added a mandatory section <311>. covid.gov.pk/guidelines/pdf…

    About vaccine for COVID-19: Pakistan is approached by Chinese company for possible trails. We have asked for more info which we will evaluate through relevant experts from safety, ethics, regulation & feasibility perspectives before deciding. Too early to say anything! <290>

    In no time 🇵🇰 has achieved sufficiency in PPEs production. 5 grps r working on developing local ventilators. This is the inspiring spirit of 🇵🇰. A recent exhibition of local med equipmnts led by @fawadchaudhry & inaugurated by @ImranKhanPTI was a testimony to this spirit. <298>

    پی-ٹی-آئی کے مخالفین میرے نام کے ساتھ ادویات کی قیمتوں کا ذکر کر کے شک ڈالنے کی کوشش کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ ریکارڈ کے لئے، میرے خلاف کسی قسم کا کوئی کیس نہیں۔ میں نے ایمانداری سے ذمہ داریاں نبھائیں- میرا ضمیر بالکل صاف ہے۔ میں اب پاکستان میں رہتا ہوں اور میرے پاس کوئی دوسری شہریت نہیں۔
