since this is blowing up for whatever reason let me add this:
a solution to this problem is creating more online spaces for adults that "mimick" the feeling those child websites gave them, that way we can cater those spaces specially to them-
side note:
-companies want money
-adults spend more money than kids
-companies see that a part of their userbase are adults that on average spend more money than kids
-company starts catering more towards adults so they attract more adults and make more money
adults accepting that their childhood (time on those websites) is over and moving on by passing them to the next generation of kids instead of staying there
-over time the website/game becomes less and less child friendly
-the "safe" space for children online disappears
- a new website/game is created and the process is repeated
I had to add this cause isn't solely about how adults interact with the children. your presence alone (no matter how well you behave) will inevitably make that space less safe for children over time.
they had to add those ratings and age verification because adults were starting to become a large part of their traffic. so to protect the kids they had to add those things
it wasn't really their fault
"forcing" 😭😭😭
he's under contract and Madrid still haven't paid the 50M, trying to make Benfica look like the bad guys because they aren't twerking for Florentino Perez is too funny 😭😭😭
🚨 NEW: Benfica are forcing Alvaro Carreras to travel to the USA tomorrow despite advanced negotiations with Real Madrid.
It's pressure measure, they hope Real Madrid will finally bridge the financial gap that's preventing the deal from being finalized. @jfelixdiaz
