I wish @mina_bloom_ would write more about the ongoing trash problem Logan has had for years now. On Milwaukee the trash cans are always full and businesses/property owners dont do jack shit to help. It's demoralizing picking trash one day and having it be worse the next. @Cdrosa

- Replying to @culturecancelerThat’s Milwaukee/Spaulding right? Complained to @Cdrosa ‘s office about this intersection after a car swerved/nearly missed me while I was walking, not a priority for his office. Look how delayed the square improvements. Pedestrian safety is not really a thing in his ward
- Hi @Cdrosa , I saw that fresh asphalt was poured at the entrance, does that mean the Kenzie realignment and the square improvements won’t happen anytime soon? Seems strange to not make this a priority with bicyclists getting hit constantly around there. cc @mina_bloom_
- Replying to @yearoftherickyFunny enough it's the McDonalds that is always super clean and has very little trash outside it. It doesn't help that the very busy stretch of Milwaukee has like 3 garbage cans and they're small and always full.
- Replying to @yearoftherickyI saw the @BlockClubCHI articles about cleanup days and I went to the Logan one, and I pick up litter on my walks constantly, but a 1 day cleanup doesn't do much. We need more trash cans that are emptied regularly, and these businesses need to start helping too. Just tired of it.
