    Racial justice comments always make me lose climate change followers,here’s the thing- climate change is the child of a history of colonialism, slavery & extraction of frontline communities-thinking you can fight it w/o justice is an affirmation of patriarchy & white supremacy🌻

    If only women like this would have had shine when we were coming up, we could’ve been saved from yrs of insecurity, fat shaming & dysmorphia - here’s to all of us reclaiming our bodies, self esteem & joy & thank you to all shredding patriarchal ideas of what we should look like🖤

    Instead of explaining Crowley's loss, lift the 28 year old Bronx born Puerto Rican sister's brilliant organizing strategy & the historical role Puerto Rican women are playing in PR & here to reject old school machine politics & force the systemic change the working class deserves

    Demographics played a bigger role I think. Still we need campaign finance reform which few politicians even good ones find it hard to support. We need to make it a broad movement working class demand and not just an insider good government issue, something we all need to work on.

    My mom is in ICU in Miami-they won’t let me see her - I cry between meetings & pray constantly- she said she’s proud of me & all us doing everything possible to save #motherearth -please say a little prayer for my mom- the work gives me purpose, but her love gives me strength

    #AnthonyBourdain covered the crises in Puerto Rico with respect- a reminder of what honest media can do- he gave a platform to food sovereignty work in PR & let all know US policies are starving our ppl to serve US corporate interests- his passing is a real loss -may he RIP🌻

    Today is the 1st time I’ve heard a meteorologist in NYC say two 55mph tornadoes are on their way & ppl in Staten Island should take cover in their basements - if those of us who work for #climatejustice work any harder , we will break - this is all hands on deck … it’s here😔
