this is, of course, dishonest. Ionet launched at a multi billion dollar val as a fraudulent project with no tech and Samani happily shilled it @ai16zdao and @virtuals_io are bringing real applications with uses TODAY, in addition to creating the rails of an agent future

Both so far the entire sector is just copy pasta The last cycle teams solved hard engineering problems in distributed systems and virtual machines. They raised, worked hard for years, then shipped The AI teams forked llama , did a few weeks of work and launched superfluous

i wont keep harping on @virtuals_io but what they did that EVERY project needs to do is built quality infrastructure and then built an app (@luna_virtuals) that shows the value of the infra. ive tried a bunch of agent projects prior that either had no apps or had apps that didn’t

Quite on the contrary— I would strongly urge builders to start building on @akashnet and developers in need of compute to check out GPU offerings on cloudmos.io or agoralabs.io have had nothing but the best experiences with Greg and team. @FoundryServices

thoughts ive had lately... full article on the @plaintext_cap blog... DePINs have proven the efficacy of crypto in building the supply side of digital commodities. The AI craze has turned data into digital gold (or maybe spice @gregosuri ?), and DePINs can capitalize on this.
