I found out today that on Chinese social media, there’s a trending hashtag that translates to white people meals lol
“I was so tired I ate a white people meal today”
One of hashtags is also “white people meals are still meals”

Have you heard of the Japanese concept of onara (屁)?
It is used to describe when you let out the wind inside of you, oftentimes leading to inner peace and relief.
I recently learned that Chinese and Japanese soy sauce are totally different.
For the last five years, I thought I was just bad at cooking Chinese food.
Turns out, I was just using the wrong type of soy sauce.
I’m renewing my drivers license right now and it involves sitting through a two hour lecture.
I asked one of the staff if it was ok that I didn’t speak Japanese and they seemed to not care at all if I understood or not.
