- According to ws-stats.com more than 1.1M XRP has been prevented ending in the wrong hands, using our service in xrplcluster.com. This is all preventive – payments that was intercepted. If exchanges implemented the same service, the amount would 10x in no time.
- Just a friendly reminder: - We cannot cancel or reverse payments – no one can - We do our best to have funds seized when they leave XRP, by working with exchanges and other off ramps – both through our API and by manually making contact
- In light of the increasing use of the XRPL for issuing tokens, we have decided to address it in the following ways:
- Yesterday a Ponzi scheme, an arbitrage trading platform, exited and left many users with losses. While the majority of funds lost was in other assets (BTC/ETH/LTC/BCH), we succeeded in helping withholding more than 300,000 XRP leaving the platforms accounts.
- The “Ripple community incentive program” scam is back. Do not trust emails or websites sounding like or looking like this. They’re already good for 10M+ XRP and cases have been rejected by several law enforcement offices.
- The increasing use of XRPL trustlines and DEX is a positive development. It clearly emphasizes how the XRPL open and available to everyone, however they choose to use the features. It also shows how far tools for the XRPL has come:

- A Poloniex hot wallet was emptied for 3.1 million XRP about 30 minutes ago. This happened at the same time as the incident on other chains, including ETH, BTC and Tron. We have flagged the accounts involved and are following the money.We are currently investigating the Poloniex hack incident. Poloniex maintains a healthy financial position and will fully reimburse the affected funds. Additionally, we are exploring opportunities for collaboration with other exchanges to facilitate the recovery of these funds.
- As some are aware, 80+ XRP accounts connected to @gatehub have been emptied in thefts the past week, and it appears to be ongoing. Here is our overview of the case. Consider keeping your funds safe by moving your long term holdings to new accounts.
