- Number one tactic an employer will use to break up solidarity is breaking employees down into smaller groups, then eventually 1:1s. This isolates you and allows them more control over you. - Replying to @wufflesFirstly - let me say there are so many GOOD amazing people at Insomniac that I would never want to direct harm their way. But there also is a culture of hiding the ugliness that comes from the very top.
- Replying to @wufflesI have a list in the double digits of women who were harmed by the actions of this company - some so much so that they declined to speak about it to me at all. Insomniac has throttled careers of great women, left them no option but to 'resign' and protected sexual predators.
- Hot take: Crunch culture would almost entirely disappear if everyone was paid overtime, especially at a higher than base rate, including salaried employees. Every time I’ve proposed this as a solution it’s been immediately dismissed by management. Not even a trial. 🤷
