    Deputy Justin DeRosier's patrol vehicle. The blue and white floral arrangement was sent by the New York Yankees. The outpouring of support for Justin and his family has been incredible. We thank you all.

    Chehalis - Flag has been lowered to half staff to honor Trooper Schaffer. A community memorial has began to grow at the base. Thank to all that for the thoughts, prayers, & gifts. #Overwhelming

    Lewis County - A Trooper in Lewis County rescued a kitten on I5/MP81. The @LCPHSS took the kitten for care. The Trooper Ausborn, who rescued the kitten, plans on adopting once it reaches 2lbs! #NiceWork #KittenLover

    Kalama - NB I5/Exit 30 - CLOSED! A motorist attempted to drive through the deep water. Not advised! Doesn't look like this will be cleaned up anytime soon!

    Sundale, WA - The results are in! The total weight came in just under 1 million...944,800! Heaviest load ever weighed by the @wastatepatrol. Load will travel on SR beginning 9/17.

    Cowlitz County - Ever wonder what 133 mph feels like? We just let this motorist know w/a $436 infraction! Trooper was feeling kind...could have been $550 & a ride to jail. COVID-19 spreads quickly, don’t try to outrun it! #SlowDown #StayHomeStayHealthy

    VanWA - Communications just received this 911 call: D-"WSP, what's your emergency?" C-"Hi. I am fine, but stuck in traffic & need a trooper." D-"You're stuck in traffic?" C-"Yes. Traffic is not moving & I need help getting out of it." D-"Ok. We will let the troopers know!"
