We're not building a rebel base on the planet Hoth. This is the new culvert we're installing under SR 3 near Gorst to help improve fish migration. It's also designed to help prevent flooding and withstand earthquakes. Added benefit: bear playground. @KitsapWa

Heads up south Kitsap! Both directions of SR 3 are closed for fish passage construction. The highway is scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. Monday, June 29. Signed detours are in place for all travelers. wsdot.wa.gov/construction-p…
