- The beautiful William died this week. He was 11. He had cancer and he wasn’t sick for long. He had a great life. I don’t believe anyone was ever unkind to him. I didn’t want to Tweet it. It makes it more real I guess.
- Despite the Oscar-winning performance, this Labrador has been fed. Less than an hour ago. @thedogteamuk
- I have survived an encounter with the two most incisive and funny interviewing duo in the world @janegarvey1 @fifiglover @BBCRadio4 The wonderful Sam edited out all the libellous bits. Perhaps we will publish them separately…… I really enjoyed it.
- I got the posh glasses out for friends coming over later. My Mum bought me some like these many years ago. They were seconds from TJ Hughes in Liverpool. I loved them and used them until they broke. I found them again second hand online.
- This morning, we stood outside the garden Derek Jarman made at Dungeness. He wrote: "Paradise haunts gardens, and some gardens are paradises. Mine is one of them." No picture can capture the beauty and joy of it.
- Our new dog is a rescue from South Korea. She arrived on Monday. I think we’re bonding well. She pulled an old grey cardigan of mine down from the sofa to sleep on. I’ve decided we will share it @thedogteamuk

- Maisie the Korean rescue dog enjoying the cheese course after breakfast. We’ve had a tough few weeks with her barking at night. I came down this morning to a silent waggy dog. I feel like we’re getting somewhere….
- Here is the beautiful dog who is joining our household soon. She will fill the dog-shaped hole left in our hearts by the equally beautiful William Dog.

- Maisie our rescue dog from @thedogteamuk would really like to sleep in safe place she’s chosen in the hallway. She tries it for a few minutes now each night when I go up to bed and then she joins me. It’s where she’ll sleep one day I think, when she’s more confident.
