If there’s one thing I can ask of y’all this before this Black History Month ends is to start capitalizing the B in Black. Not just in your papers or articles but on social media and wherever you write. It seems small but it’s not and it takes a second to do. Capitalize the B!

As a black woman, you should never feel comfortable calling 911 on a black man unless its obviously necessary. If a woman calls the police on you out of anger she wants you dead.
