- gifting my best friend the copy of wuthering heights i found today
- when i was 14 i lent a friend my chbosky and she returned it taped up after it fell apart. i was sad so my middle -school boyfriend drew a heart on the overlapping pages. we've grown apart but half a heart still meets the other when i open the book at 23.
- 'read what you want' and 'read to expand your mind' are two statements that can coexist. read that faerie smut but also throw in some philosophy, history, politics, check out the canon. i am telling you it will enrich the reading experience of your faerie smut. it's fun too!!
- i will be reading giovanni's room yet again due to personal reasons.

- it's my best friend's birthday today so i found her a nice collection of the edgar allan poe short stories she was looking for.
- reading ursula le guin's 'the dispossessed' and i must say this is very true. beautiful book. i often try and replicate particular writing styles as part of writing exercises and it's so difficult to whittle down my thoughts and ideas in a simple but interesting manner.
- dear god, vanquish this season of examination so that i might have the time to peruse this beautiful looking edition of 'the monk' by mathew lewis. amen.
