    We are leaving X and this account will no longer be updated. Thanks for the memories, particularly our early days when it was a valuable platform for the HE wonks to connect and chat. But we no longer want to be associated with what it has become and the person who owns it. Mark

    To be clear, it's spelt 'Wonkhe' and pronounced "wonky". All those who write 'WonkHE' or say "wonk haitch ee" have their names written down in a big book, which goes in the bottom draw of Mark Leach's desk.
