It's been a little over a year since my mom passed suddenly in her sleep. I brew my coffee to this picture every morning. Thinking of you, Mom. I love and miss you so. Thanks for being a guiding light every day even since you passed. 🙏

Hopefully I will be able to greet you on the TV side sometime in the near future. Thanks for welcoming me into your homes, Rochester. #ROC

Officially making occasional visits to Boston to live out a life long dream of working in my hometown as a freelance meteorologist at WBZ Channel 4. Couldn't be happier. Couldn't be more excited. See you on TV Thanksgiving Day! #Boston #NewEngland

A personal moment to share: Many, many months have gone by since I have seen my Mom, my only parent since my Dad passed some 2.5 yrs ago. We hadn't seen each other since about 6 months after Dad passed and the start of the pandemic. Celebrating good health and reunion.

Just a quick tweet to let everyone know that I'm okay. I miss TV, but am grateful to be on the radio in #ROC. The death of my Mom has challenged and consumed me on many levels. I promise I'll be back with more weather tweets soon!

More than a mom. She was my strength, guide, the person who I could always turn to no matter what the circumstances. A tower of truth, faithful & devoted to her family. And now she's gone on to be with my Dad. Rest in peace Mommy. Life just won't be the same without you.

I've lived in coastal New England, went to school in Northern Vermont, and have seen many a lake effect event in the 22 years I've been in Rochester. Never have I seen such a ferocious lake effect snow event as this with intense snow rates & relentless 70 mph wind gusts. #Buffalo

#WNY needs to be prepared for a long duration, high impact lake effect snow event that really gets going Thursday night and lasts, potentially, into Mon AM. Broad ranges in snow totals should be expected, but strong likelihood exists of needing a yardstick to measure it in spots.

Happy to announce that I will be back on TV in Western NY starting on Monday. I'll be freelancing here and there at WIVB News 4 in Buffalo. So great to be able to return to what I love to do! #WNY #WX

I made the poor decision to drive tonight back in Rochester instead of taking a hotel in Buffalo. Nothing salted, no sand, maniac drivers. Took me 2.5 hours to get home. BOTH the 90 & the 190 were bad. I remember when 3-6" of snow was a cakewalk. Sad, but at least I'm safe. #WNY

NYC had 3.15" of rainfall in the hour between 9 and 10pm shattering their previous hourly rainfall record set just only ~10 days ago. #Ida

30 pounds lighter than 16 months ago, and the journey continues. Haven't felt this great since I was in my 20s. Hoping I can keep the momentum going!
